I have a great pleasure to present you a new internet service of the Ministry of Social Policy. It is aimed to serve all those who are interested in implementation of the idea of civil society, as well as the development of public benefit work in Poland.

The service is administered by the Department of Public Benefit, which for two years had been working on the promotion of legislation passed in the public benefit and volunteer work Act of law of April 24, 2003, monitoring of its implementation and first of all - initiating legal changes shaping the development of the third sector in Poland.

We want this service to be a resource of reliable information on legal regulations concerning the third sector in Poland, their official interpretation and scope of validity (zakresu obowiązywania)

Our service shall provide you with other acts of law related to non-governmental organizations, interpretations of several ministries, information on grant competitions addressed to NGOs, governmental programs - in other words: all the important information on relations between public administration and the third sector shall be available at www.pozytek.gov.pl.

We also encourage you to ask questions, suggestions, to suggest new subjects for discussions at the forum, to send us information on planned conferences and seminars. We hope, that thanks to your support, our service becomes an exchange forum and a resource of interesting and inspiring experiences of both Polish and foreign institutions and non-governmental organizations. We believe our initiative attracts your attention and the internet service www.pozytek.gov.pl becomes an effective tool serving the purpose of implementing your initiatives, projects and programs aiming at the development of the third sector in Poland.
